Keely Shaye Brosnan marked her 25th wedding anniversary with Hollywood actor Pierce Brosnan by sharing a heartfelt tribute, describing their journey together as “an adventure” and expressing excitement for the years ahead.
The American journalist and filmmaker shared a series of romantic photographs with Pierce Brosnan, featuring moments from their early years together as well as recent memories.
“Happy 25th wedding anniversary my love! What an adventure life is with you. Looking forward to the next 25 years beside you @piercebrosnanofficial,” Keely wrote in her anniversary post.
Pierce Brosnan first met Keely Shaye Smith in 1994 in Mexico. The couple tied the knot in 2001 at Ballintubber Abbey in Ireland and have two sons, Dylan and Paris.
Brosnan achieved global recognition after portraying the iconic character James Bond in four films — “GoldenEye” (1995), “Tomorrow Never Dies” (1997), “The World Is Not Enough” (1999) and “Die Another Day” (2002).
Over his career, the actor has appeared in several notable films, including “The Fourth Protocol”, “Mrs. Doubtfire”, “Dante’s Peak”, “The Thomas Crown Affair”, “Mamma Mia!”, “The Ghost Writer”, “Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Lightning Thief”, “The November Man”, “Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again”, “Black Adam”, “The Thursday Murder Club” and “MobLand”.
For his contribution to cinema, Brosnan was honoured with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 1997.
The actor is next set to appear in “Cliffhanger”, an action thriller reboot of the 1993 film of the same name. Directed by Jaume Collet-Serra, the movie stars Lily James, Nell Tiger Free, Franz Rogowski and Pierce Brosnan, and serves as the second instalment in the “Cliffhanger” film series.
The film follows Naomi, who joins her sister Sydney on a mountain excursion while staying with their father Ray Cooper, an experienced mountaineer who runs a luxury chalet in the Dolomites. After a group of kidnappers attack the excursion, Naomi escapes and must fight to save her sister and father before it is too late.
