Actress and television personality Neha Dhupia marked her mother Manpinder Dhupia’s birthday with an emotional tribute, describing her as her “pillar”, “peace” and “person” while wishing her continued health and happiness.
Sharing a series of pictures on Instagram, Neha wrote, “Happy birthday ma …. My pillar, my peace, my person … We celebrate you everyday … there’s nothing more I wish than your good health and happiness …. Baaki baatein over our favourite cuppa time.”
The pictures captured the close bond between the mother and daughter. In one photograph, the duo was seen seeking blessings at the Golden Temple in Amritsar, while another showed them sharing a candid laugh. Neha also posted a video offering a glimpse of her mother’s birthday cake.
Neha has often spoken about the special relationship she shares with Manpinder, whom she considers one of her biggest sources of strength and support. She has credited her mother with being a confidante and someone she turns to for advice on both personal and professional matters.
The actress has also said that her mother’s support has influenced the way she approaches motherhood. Neha and her husband, actor Angad Bedi, are parents to daughter Mehr and son Guriq.
Neha welcomed Mehr in November 2018 and Guriq in October 2021. She has previously spoken about balancing motherhood with her professional commitments, including her work on MTV Roadies, and recalled how her mother supported her while she was raising her young daughter and managing her career.
The actress has also expressed her wish to offer her children the same love and support that she received from her own mother.
