Anmol Rajan, an M.Pharm (Pharmaceutics) student at the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Technology, Maharaja Ranjit Singh Punjab Technical University (MRSPTU), Bathinda, has been honoured with the Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE) Best Student Award 2026 for his academic performance, research efforts and contribution to pharmaceutical sciences.
The award was presented during the ISTE Student Convention 2026 hosted by MIET Jammu, where Rajan was recognised for his commitment to academic excellence, research and professional development.
Rajan has been pursuing his academic and research work under the guidance of Prof. Dr. Ashish Baldi and Dr. Yadwinder Pal Sharma. The university said his achievement reflected his sustained dedication to academics and research and brought recognition to MRSPTU.
Vice Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) Sanjeev Kumar Sharma and Registrar Prof. Paramjeet Singh congratulated Rajan on receiving the national-level student honour and described the achievement as a matter of pride for the university.
The university authorities also congratulated Prof. Ashish Baldi and Dr. Yadwinder Pal Sharma for their mentorship and guidance. They wished the faculty members continued success in their academic and research pursuits.
