Filmmaker and writer Luv Ranjan has opened up about introducing six newcomers to audiences with the upcoming friendship-based comedy ‘Pehla Pyaar Doosri Baar’, describing the experience as both challenging and exciting.
Ranjan said launching fresh talent is an opportunity he genuinely enjoys, recalling that he had a similar experience 15 years ago with ‘Pyaar Ka Punchnama’.
“Introducing newcomers is always a challenge, but it’s the one I genuinely look forward to. Fifteen years ago, I got that opportunity with Pyaar Ka Punchnama, and when something similar came along with Pehla Pyaar Doosri Baar, I knew I didn’t want to let it pass,” he said.
He added that, as a writer, creating a world for six new actors and seeing them develop their individual rhythm within the story was particularly rewarding.
“As a writer, creating a world for six new faces and watching them find their own rhythm within it was something I really enjoyed. When the people feel right, the story finds its own energy, and I’m excited for audiences to meet them,” Ranjan said.
The first poster of ‘Pehla Pyaar Doosri Baar’ was recently unveiled on social media, offering audiences a first glimpse of the film.
Directed by debutant Anuj Saini, the film is presented by Luv Films and revolves around friendship, with the production house known for its relationship-oriented stories.
The film marks the acting debuts of Alisha Chopra, Sparsh Walia, Sakshi Vaidya, Kunal Vaid, Sargun Kaur Luthra and Tushar Chhibber.
‘Pehla Pyaar Doosri Baar’ is scheduled to release in theatres on October 23.
