Birthday greetings poured in from across the world for Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday as he turned 76, with foreign leaders, diplomats and missions conveying wishes for his good health, happiness and continued success.
Dominica Prime Minister Roosevelt Skerrit extended his greetings on behalf of his government and people, wishing PM Modi good health and strength in his service to the people of India.
“On behalf of the Government and people of the Commonwealth of Dominica, I extend warm birthday wishes to Prime Minister Narendra Modi. May the year ahead bring you good health and continued strength in service to the people of India,” Skerrit posted on X.
Several diplomatic representatives in India also shared birthday messages, highlighting their respective countries’ ties and partnerships with India.
Sri Lankan High Commissioner to India Mahishini Colonné posted on X, “Warm birthday greetings to Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. Sri Lanka cherishes its enduring friendship and close partnership with India. Wishing Prime Minister Modi good health, happiness and continued success.”
The Embassy of the Netherlands in India also extended birthday greetings, referring to the strategic partnership established during PM Modi’s visit to the Netherlands in May 2026. India and the Netherlands elevated their bilateral ties to a Strategic Partnership during the visit.
“Wishing Hon’ble Prime Minister Narendra Modi a happy birthday from the Kingdom of the Netherlands! The signing of our strategic partnership during PM Modi’s recent visit to the Netherlands in May 2026 elevated our existing bilateral collaboration and has continued to grow and strengthen our ties,” the embassy posted on X.
Switzerland’s Ambassador to India Maya Tissafi also conveyed her greetings, expressing hope for India’s continued growth and greater opportunities for cooperation between the two countries.
“My warm wishes to Prime Minister Narendra Modi on his birthday. May the year ahead bring continued growth for India under his leadership, and many more opportunities for Switzerland and India to work together,” Tissafi posted on X.
Former Israeli Ambassador to India Daniel Carmon also wished PM Modi on his birthday, writing on X, “My best personal birthday wishes to honourable PM, Narendra Modi, a most respected World leader, the Son of India, a friend of Israel.”
The birthday greetings came from several other countries and diplomatic missions as well, with the United States, Vietnam and Nepal among those conveying wishes to PM Modi on Thursday.
