Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Thursday extended birthday greetings to Prime Minister Narendra Modi on his 76th birthday, praising his leadership and highlighting the strengthening ties between India and Israel.
In a message shared by the Office of the Prime Minister of Israel on X, Netanyahu described the relationship between the two countries as an “unprecedented partnership” between two democracies.
“Happy birthday, Narendra! Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Your leadership has transformed India into a world power. Together, we have built an unprecedented partnership between our two great democracies,” Netanyahu said.
He added that friendship between Israel and India had “never been stronger” and expressed his wishes for Modi’s continued leadership, health and fulfilment.
Russian President Vladimir Putin also conveyed birthday greetings to Modi, praising his contribution to strengthening the Special and Privileged Strategic Partnership between India and Russia. The Russian Embassy in India shared Putin’s message on social media.
Putin also thanked Modi for the welcome and hospitality extended to him and the Russian delegation during his recent visit to New Delhi for the 18th BRICS Summit.
“You are rightly enjoying deep respect from your compatriots and great authority on the global stage. It is impossible to overstate your personal contribution to strengthening the special and privileged strategic partnership between India and Russia,” Putin said in his message.
The Russian President described his recent discussions with Modi as “substantive, frank and productive” and said Moscow would continue constructive cooperation with New Delhi on bilateral and international issues.
Prime Minister of Dominica Roosevelt Skerrit also extended birthday wishes to Modi, wishing him good health and continued strength in serving the people of India.
“On behalf of the Government and people of the Commonwealth of Dominica, I extend warm birthday wishes to Prime Minister Narendra Modi. May the year ahead bring you good health and continued strength in service to the people of India,” Skerrit posted on X.
Several foreign leaders, diplomatic missions and envoys also conveyed greetings to Modi as he turned 76 on Thursday, highlighting India’s bilateral relationships and diplomatic partnerships.
