Coronary angiography is a diagnostic procedure used to examine the blood vessels supplying the heart. It involves injecting a contrast dye into the coronary arteries through a catheter, allowing doctors to identify possible narrowing or blockages using X-ray imaging.
The procedure can help doctors assess the condition of the coronary arteries and determine whether further treatment is required.
