Chef Vikas Khanna and singer Shreya Ghoshal came together to celebrate the festive spirit of Ganesh Chaturthi, with Khanna giving the singer a lesson in preparing traditional modaks.
Khanna shared a video from the celebrations on Instagram, capturing Ghoshal joining the festive preparations, decorating Lord Ganesha and learning to make modaks under his guidance.
In his post, Khanna also shared a heartfelt note about Ghoshal’s voice and recalled a friend telling him that “Shreya’s voice is home”. He said the singer brought warmth and familiarity to his home during her visit.
“Today, you filled Bungalow with that voice, that warmth and that soul,” Khanna wrote, while recalling moments that included Ghoshal meeting Myshu, joining them for Ganga Aarti and preparing modaks for Ganesh Chaturthi.
Khanna described the visit as feeling less like hosting a guest and more like welcoming a daughter of the house. He also thanked Ghoshal for bringing her “light”, humility and warmth to the celebrations.
The video begins with Ghoshal sharing an affectionate moment with Myshu before she joins Khanna in the festive preparations. She is subsequently seen helping decorate Lord Ganesha and making modaks as Khanna guides her through the process.
Ghoshal also appears to enjoy the festive meal and spend time with everyone, adding to the intimate and homely atmosphere captured in the video.
Meanwhile, Ghoshal recently took her The Unstoppable Tour 2026 to Canada as part of the latest leg of her North American tour.
