Actor Jr NTR underwent arthroscopic shoulder surgery at KIMS Hospitals on Wednesday after sustaining an injury, with doctors expecting him to make a full recovery within two to three months.
The procedure was recommended after detailed medical evaluation and consultations with a team of specialists. According to a health bulletin issued by KIMS Hospitals, the surgery was successful and the actor is doing well.
“The surgery was completely successful and NTR is doing fine,” the hospital said, adding that he would now begin a structured rehabilitation programme under medical supervision.
Doctors expect the actor to return to his normal routine within two to three months. His recovery will involve rehabilitation followed by a gradual resumption of regular activities.
Jr NTR’s team had earlier announced that he had suffered a shoulder injury and had been advised complete rest for six to eight weeks.
In an earlier statement, his medical team, headed by Dr J. Madhusudan Rao and Dr R. A. Purnachandra Tejaswi, said the rest was necessary to ensure a smooth and complete recovery and assured fans that there was no cause for panic.
The actor’s team had also said that further official updates on his health and recovery would be shared as appropriate.
