BJP Punjab president Kewal Singh Dhillon on Thursday hoisted the Tricolour at his residence as part of the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Speaking on the occasion, Dhillon said the National Flag was not merely a symbol but represented India’s unity, integrity, pride, dignity and patriotism.
He said the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign had encouraged citizens to express their sense of responsibility and pride towards the nation while reinforcing respect for the National Flag.
Dhillon said the spirit of nationalism and patriotism had gained further strength across the country under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
He said the campaign conveyed a message of respecting the Tricolour and contributing towards safeguarding the unity and integrity of the country.
The BJP Punjab president appealed to people across Punjab to participate in the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign and, by honouring the Tricolour, contribute to the progress, prosperity and strength of the nation.
He said the National Flag inspires every Indian to remain united and move forward on the path of nation-building.
