Actor Parag Tyagi remembered his late wife, actress Shefali Jariwala, on their wedding anniversary on Wednesday, sharing an emotional tribute to the former couple’s years together.
Parag posted a throwback video on Instagram featuring the couple enjoying an ice gola together at Mumbai’s Juhu beach. The video carried the words “Together Forever” and showed the two sharing a light-hearted romantic moment.
Alongside the video, Parag marked what would have been 16 years of their relationship, also remembering their pet dog Simba, who died in July this year.
“Happy anniversary, together forever, Pari Simba & Papa. 16 years of pure love & bliss & counting till I join you both,” he wrote.
Shefali died on June 27, 2025, at the age of 42 after suffering a sudden cardiac arrest in Mumbai. Parag had rushed her to hospital, where she was declared dead on arrival.
The couple had first met at a mutual friend’s party, and their relationship grew over time. Parag later proposed to Shefali on television during the dance reality show Nach Baliye 5. They married in an intimate ceremony on August 12, 2014.
Since Shefali’s death, Parag has frequently shared memories of her on social media. He had also spoken about the emotional support he received from Simba following her passing.
After Simba died on July 23 this year, Parag shared an old video featuring Shefali and their pet and wrote that Simba was now with his mother, adding that he looked forward to being reunited with both of them.
