Superstar Salman Khan is set to return as the host of Bigg Boss Hindi Season 20, with the upcoming edition promising a major change in the way contestants navigate the game.
The makers have unveiled a new promo introducing the season’s central twist, titled ‘Extra Jeevan Daan’, with Salman hinting that the concept will alter not only the game but also the strategy adopted by contestants.
“Bigg Boss mein har saal game badalta hai. Is baar sirf game nahi, khelne ka tareeka bhi badalne wala hai. ‘Jeevan Daan’ sunne mein jitna seedha lagta hai, utna hai nahi. Baaki, ghar ke andar pata chal hi jaayega,” Salman said.
He added that the ‘Jeevan Daan’ concept may sound straightforward, but its actual impact will become clear only after the contestants enter the house.
Salman also shared the promo on social media, writing, “Two lives ka vardaan for all gharwale, meri jaan #BiggBoss starts 6th September on @jiotvhotstar and @colorstv.”
The promo begins with an intense face-off between two warriors in what appears to be an arena before Salman makes a dramatic entry and introduces the additional ‘Jeevan Daan’ for contestants.
While the promo suggests that contestants may receive an additional opportunity to remain in the competition, the makers have not yet disclosed how the extra life will function or at what stage it can be used.
The new twist comes as the show prepares to return with its 20th Hindi season. Bigg Boss Hindi Season 20 will premiere on September 6 on JioTV and Colors TV.
