Actress Akanksha Chamola has made it clear that she no longer wishes to answer questions about her former husband and actor Gaurav Khanna or her stint on the reality show Lock Upp: Sach Ya Sazaa.
In a video captured by IANS, Akanksha was seen interacting with photographers when she proactively requested them not to ask her about either subject. Smiling but firm, she said she would not be taking any more questions concerning Gaurav or Lock Upp.
Akanksha’s comments come months after her public revelations about her marriage to Gaurav following her appearance on the second season of Lock Upp. During the show’s premiere, she disclosed that the couple had been living separately for more than a year and were heading towards divorce.
She later clarified that their separation was genuine and was not being used to generate publicity or television ratings. At the show’s official press conference following its conclusion, Akanksha said they had emotionally moved on from the marriage and that only the formal divorce documentation remained.
The revelation had surprised many viewers, particularly in light of Gaurav’s public comments about their relationship during his appearance on Bigg Boss 19. During the reality show, Gaurav had spoken frequently about Akanksha and their relationship.
He had also discussed his desire to have children and said he had accepted Akanksha’s decision not to become a parent. He maintained that, since theirs was a love marriage, he respected her choice.
Akanksha was among the contestants on Lock Upp: Sach Ya Sazaa Season 2, where details of her personal life and marriage became a significant part of public discussion surrounding her participation.
Her latest remarks indicate that she now wants to keep questions about her former marriage and the reality show private.
