England white-ball captain Harry Brook, West Indies all-rounder Justin Greaves and Bangladesh opener Tanzid Hasan have been nominated for the ICC Men’s Player of the Month award for July 2026 following impressive performances across international cricket.
Brook earned his nomination after playing a leading role in England’s white-ball success against India. The right-handed batter topped the run charts in the five-match T20I series, scoring 229 runs at an average of 114.50 and an exceptional strike rate of 214.01. His performances earned him the Player of the Series award.
He also scored 32 runs in two ODIs at a strike rate of 114.28.
Greaves enjoyed an outstanding month in Test cricket, making significant contributions with both bat and ball. The 32-year-old scored 180 in the first Test against Sri Lanka at North Sound, Antigua, helping West Indies secure a draw before the hosts went on to win the series 1-0.
He subsequently produced a match-winning bowling performance against Pakistan in Tarouba. Greaves claimed 5-27 in the first innings and 2-12 in the second to help West Indies secure victory.
Across two Tests during the month, Greaves accumulated 215 runs at an average of 71.66 and took eight wickets at a remarkable average of 10.25. He also featured in two ODIs.
Hasan has received his first nomination after establishing himself as Bangladesh’s leading batter during the white-ball tour of Zimbabwe. The left-handed opener topped the run-scoring charts in both the ODI and T20I series.
He scored 159 runs in three ODIs at an average of 53 and a strike rate of 89.83. Hasan followed that with 140 runs in the T20I series at an average of 70 and a strike rate of 127.27.
The three nominees have been recognised for performances across different formats, with Brook’s explosive T20I batting, Greaves’ all-round Test impact and Hasan’s consistency across Bangladesh’s white-ball campaign forming the basis of their nominations.
