Actress Soni Razdan extended a heartfelt birthday wish to her son-in-law, Bollywood star Ranbir Kapoor, as he turned 44, calling him “the best man in the house” and sending him love and duas.
Soni marked the occasion with a warm social media post featuring Ranbir, her daughter Alia Bhatt and granddaughter Raha Kapoor.
“Happy Birthday to the best man in the house. Loads of love and duas always #ranbir,” she wrote in the caption.
The photograph showed Ranbir smiling at the camera, while Alia stood beside her mother and appeared to affectionately kiss her on the cheek. The intimate family picture seemingly dates back to the Kapoor-Bhatt family’s Christmas celebrations.
Little Raha was also part of the frame, although her face was kept hidden to protect her privacy. Alia and Ranbir have consistently expressed their wish to keep their daughter away from unnecessary media attention.
For the uninitiated, Alia and Ranbir’s relationship began after they met while working on Ayan Mukerji’s fantasy drama Brahmastra. Their romance blossomed during the film’s making, and after dating for a few years, the couple tied the knot in an intimate ceremony at their Mumbai residence in April 2022.
The couple welcomed their daughter, Raha, in November 2022.
On the professional front, Alia and Ranbir have reunited for Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s upcoming period drama Love & War, which also stars Vicky Kaushal.
Ranbir is also preparing for Nitesh Tiwari’s ambitious film Ramayana: Part 1, in which he portrays Lord Ram. The film features Sai Pallavi as Sita, Yash as Ravana, Sunny Deol as Hanuman and Ravi Dubey as Lakshman. It is scheduled to release in theatres on November 6, 2026.
