Actress Rakhi Sawant has criticised Govinda over his reported association with actress Komal Rani Swarnkar, whom she has described as his rumoured girlfriend, and urged the Bollywood actor to reconcile with his wife, Sunita Ahuja.
Speaking to photographers at Mumbai airport, Rakhi launched a sharp attack on Komal, calling her a “pati chor” (husband stealer), “gold digger” and “chudail”. She accused her of disrupting Govinda and Sunita’s marriage, which has reportedly lasted around 40 years.
Rakhi made several personal remarks against Komal, alleging that she was pursuing a relationship with Govinda for financial benefits. She also said she would make Komal “Sunita’s maid”, using provocative language during her interaction with the media.
Expressing disappointment over Govinda’s reported relationship, Rakhi also demanded Rs 65,999 from the actor, claiming she had spent that amount watching his films since childhood.
Earlier, Rakhi had criticised Govinda for visiting Lalbaugcha Raja with Komal, saying he should have taken Sunita, with whom he has shared decades of marriage.
“Govinda ji, this is very wrong. You should have taken your wife, with whom you have spent 40 years,” Rakhi said, questioning his decision to visit the popular Ganesh pandal with another woman.
She appealed to the actor to put aside differences and return to his wife, saying that people who find their way back home should not be considered lost.
“Forget everything. It’s not a good thing. Don’t do this, Govinda ji. You are such a good person,” she said, urging the actor to reconcile with Sunita.
Govinda and Sunita’s married life has been in the spotlight amid Sunita’s recent remarks about the actor’s alleged relationship with Komal. Rakhi has publicly expressed support for Sunita as speculation surrounding the couple’s relationship continues.
