The Punjab Government on Thursday ordered the transfer and posting of seven IAS officers with immediate effect on administrative grounds.
Kamal Kishor Yadav (IAS 2003), serving as Secretary, General Administration & Coordination, has been given additional charge as Administrative Secretary, Science, Technology & Environment and Administrative Secretary, Forests & Wild Life Preservation following the relieving of Priyank Bharti on central deputation.
Arshdeep Singh Thind (IAS 2004), serving as Administrative Secretary, Agriculture & Farmers’ Welfare with additional charge of Horticulture and Soil & Water Conservation, has been given additional charge as Administrative Secretary, Water Supply & Sanitation following the relieving of Nilkanth S. Avhad on central deputation.
Amit Talwar (IAS 2013), serving as Managing Director, Punjab Health System Corporation, has been transferred as Special Secretary, Rural Development & Panchayats and additionally appointed Nodal Officer for Drugs and Caste Census.
Parminder Pal Singh (IAS 2016), who was awaiting posting, has been appointed as Special Secretary, Employment Generation, Skill Development & Training.
Gautam Jain (IAS 2017), serving as Special Secretary, Personnel with additional charge as Managing Director, Punjab State Warehousing Corporation Limited, has been posted as Managing Director, Punjab Health System Corporation in place of Amit Talwar.
Jasbir Singh-II (IAS 2018), serving as Additional Secretary, General Administration & Coordination with additional charge as Director, Hospitality, has been given additional charge as Managing Director, Punjab State Warehousing Corporation Limited relieving Gautam Jain of the responsibility.
Pallavi Mishra (IAS 2023), who was awaiting posting, has been appointed as Sub Divisional Magistrate, Kalanaur relieving Ravinder Singh (PCS) of the additional charge.
The government has directed all officers concerned to join their new assignments immediately.
