Television actor and host Jay Bhanushali recently gave fans a glimpse into his morning routine with daughter Tara, stepping in as her hairstylist while her mother, actress Mahhi Vij, is away inside the Bigg Boss 20 house.
In a video shared on social media, Jay can be seen sitting behind Tara and carefully styling her hair. Tara, dressed in a pink sleeveless top and white shorts, stood beside the sofa as her father worked on her hairstyle.
Jay captioned the heartwarming clip, “Mornings like this…”
The sweet father-daughter moment comes during Mahhi’s stint on the Salman Khan-hosted reality show. Before entering the Bigg Boss 20 house, Mahhi had spoken about how difficult it would be to stay away from Tara, with whom she shares a close bond. She had also said she wanted her daughter to see her embrace a new professional challenge.
Jay had also publicly cheered for Mahhi following her entry into the show. Sharing a video of her entry, he called her “The Don” and wrote, “The Don is in the house. All the best. Kill it Tara ki mumma.”
Jay and Mahhi tied the knot in an intimate ceremony in 2011. In 2017, they became foster parents to Khushi and Rajveer, before welcoming their biological daughter Tara in 2019. The couple also participated together in Nach Baliye 5, which they went on to win.
After 14 years of marriage, Jay and Mahhi announced their separation in January 2026. In a joint statement, they said they had decided to pursue separate paths while continuing to support each other and remain friends.
They also emphasised that their children would remain their priority and said they were committed to being the best parents they could be.
