Actress Ananya Panday shared a warm birthday wish for her father, veteran actor Chunky Panday, as he turned a year older on Saturday.
Ananya took to Instagram Stories and posted a throwback black-and-white picture of her father. Wishing the Housefull actor, she wrote, “Happy birthday handsome! Love you papa.”
Chunky reshared his daughter’s post on his Instagram Stories and responded with “Annnchuuuuu”, along with red heart and love-struck emojis.
Ananya’s younger sister, Rysa Panday, also shared an old photograph of their father and wished him “Happy birthday to the coolest dad”.
Ananya frequently shares glimpses of her personal life on social media. Recently, she posted pictures from her Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations, saying she had returned home in time to welcome Ganpati Bappa.
The post featured Ananya posing with her parents, Chunky and Bhavna Pandey. In one photograph, she was seen in multicoloured ethnic attire with folded hands in front of the Ganpati idol, while another showed her with one of her pets.
On the professional front, Ananya was last seen in Vivek Soni’s romantic drama Chand Mera Dil, co-starring Lakshya Lalwani.
The film follows two college students whose relationship is tested as they enter adulthood and navigate the challenges and responsibilities of the real world. Chand Mera Dil was released theatrically on May 22.
