The teaser of ‘Haiwaan’, starring Akshay Kumar and Saif Ali Khan, was unveiled on Wednesday, offering a glimpse into a dark and intense world shaped by mystery, danger and suspense.
Directed by Priyadarshan, the teaser relies heavily on silhouettes, looming shadows and brief visual glimpses to create an eerie atmosphere. Saif Ali Khan appears to portray a visually impaired character, adding another layer of intrigue to the narrative.
The film also features Boman Irani, Saiyami Kher and Shriya Pilgaonkar in pivotal roles. The teaser follows the mysterious tone established by the posters released earlier, which hinted at a tense and menacing thriller.
‘Haiwaan’ went on floors last year. At the time, Akshay Kumar shared a behind-the-scenes video on Instagram featuring himself, Saif and Priyadarshan in conversation on the sets.
The film marks the reunion of Akshay and Saif, who were last seen together in the 2008 film ‘Tashan’. While the film underperformed commercially and received mixed critical response, its music was well received.
With Priyadarshan directing and the two actors sharing the screen again, ‘Haiwaan’ is being positioned as a major theatrical release of 2026.
