Hollywood star Will Smith marked his return to the sets of his upcoming action-crime thriller Supermax with a stylish gift from his son Jaden Smith.
Will shared a video on Instagram showing him stepping into his trailer and displaying a pair of new red-bottomed luxury sneakers gifted by Jaden. Thanking his son, Will said the gift had him “right for day one” of filming.
“Day one, Jazz. Oh, shoot. This is the best part of today. First day of shooting, but I’m also rocking a gift from my son,” Will said in the video, before showing off the shoes.
“Thank you, Jaden. You got me right for day one,” he added.
Sharing the clip, Will captioned it: “First day back at the office. #Supermax.”
Supermax is an upcoming action-crime thriller directed by David Gordon Green and written by David Weil and David J. Rosen. The film stars Will Smith alongside AnnaSophia Robb, Jaafar Jackson and Jason Clarke.
Smith, one of Hollywood’s most prominent stars, has received several major honours, including an Academy Award, a Golden Globe Award, a BAFTA Award and four Grammy Awards.
He first rose to fame as part of the hip-hop duo DJ Jazzy Jeff & The Fresh Prince, before establishing a successful solo music career. His solo albums include Big Willie Style, Willennium, Born to Reign, Lost and Found and Based on a True Story.
His music career produced several major hits, including the US Billboard Hot 100 No. 1 singles “Gettin’ Jiggy wit It” and “Wild Wild West”. He later became a global film star through a string of commercially successful movies.
