Shibani Akhtar recently got a dolphin tattoo matching one her husband, actor-filmmaker Farhan Akhtar, has had for nearly two decades, turning the gesture into a sweet social media moment.
In her latest post, Shibani shared a video showing her getting the dolphin tattoo. Towards the end of the clip, Farhan was seen flaunting his own dolphin tattoo on his shoulder while showering affection on his wife.
Sharing the post, Shibani asked her followers whether the matching tattoo was “cute or creepy”.
“Does it still count as a matching tattoo if he got it 20 years before we met? Cute or creepy? @faroutakhtar,” she wrote.
Several members of the entertainment industry, including Dia Mirza, Saba Azad and Amrita Arora, reacted to the post by calling the gesture “cute” and adding red heart emojis. Saba Pataudi also commented, “Adorable…Mahsha’Allah.”
Farhan and Shibani have frequently shared affectionate posts for each other on social media.
On August 27, Farhan shared a birthday tribute for Shibani, calling her his “sunshine” and writing, “Happy birthday, sunshine… love you @shibaniakhtar.”
Earlier in January, Shibani described her life with Farhan as “the greatest adventure” in a birthday message, calling him her “best friend”, “happy place” and “everything”.
Farhan and Shibani tied the knot on February 19, 2022, in an intimate ceremony attended by close family members and friends.
