Pop icon Madonna celebrated the 14th birthday of her twin daughters Stella and Estere with a heartfelt social media tribute, sharing a collection of photographs and videos chronicling their journey from childhood to their teenage years.
The singer posted the birthday tribute on Instagram on Monday, featuring moments from the twins’ childhood and describing them as having grown into “beautiful young women”.
“Happy Birthday to my Virgo Twins! Stella and Estere! So full of Life, Music, and Opinions. I can’t believe you’re 14!!!” Madonna wrote in the caption.
Reflecting on her bond with the twins, she added that they shared a special connection from the time she met them at Home of Hope in Malawi.
“You live in the magical world that only twins can inhabit,” she wrote, adding, “You have grown into beautiful young women. So Sassy!! Like all of your sisters, you do not suffer fools gladly. Malawian Queens. Long may you Reign.”
Madonna’s post drew warm reactions from fans, who flooded the comments with birthday wishes for Stella and Estere. Several users praised the twins and celebrated their bond with their mother.
Stella and Estere were born in Malawi in 2012 and were adopted by Madonna in February 2017, when they were four years old. They are among Madonna’s six children, alongside Lourdes, Rocco, David and Mercy.
The twins have also developed an interest in music and performance. Estere notably joined Madonna onstage during the singer’s Celebration Tour in 2023, where she performed a voguing routine.
