Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini has begun a three-day visit to Singapore to explore opportunities for investment, technological and industrial cooperation, and skill development, with a focus on strengthening economic ties between Singapore and Haryana.
Saini left for Singapore late on Saturday and is scheduled to participate in various programmes under the Singapore India Network for Growth (SING) Forum.
According to the Haryana Chief Minister’s Office, Saini will explore Singapore’s modern infrastructure and technological advancements and attend a dinner hosted by the Singapore Business Forum, where he will interact with business representatives. He is also scheduled to visit Singapore Safari on Sunday evening in view of Haryana’s proposed Jungle Safari project.

During the visit, the Chief Minister will hold discussions aimed at attracting investment and expanding cooperation in key sectors, including logistics, semiconductors, advanced manufacturing, agro and food processing, Global Capability Centres (GCCs), aviation and education.
The programme will include roundtable discussions with industry leaders, investors, corporate executives and sector experts. These interactions are expected to highlight Haryana’s industrial policies, infrastructure, business environment, skilled workforce and opportunities emerging along its expanding industrial corridors.
Saini will also hold one-on-one meetings with potential investors and encourage Singapore-based companies to explore investment opportunities in Haryana.
Earlier, in March this year, Singapore India Business Forum President Prasoon Mukherjee met Saini to discuss industrial investment, trade cooperation and opportunities for Singaporean companies in the state. The Chief Minister had invited the forum and Singapore-based investors to explore Haryana’s investment potential.
The Haryana government has emphasised its commitment to promoting industries through transparent policies, simplified procedures and improved infrastructure. Saini has assured investors of full government support and said industrial expansion would generate employment opportunities and accelerate the state’s economic growth.
