Actress Sameera Reddy shared a candid glimpse of her life in Goa, crediting her son Hans for capturing what she called one of his “coolest” videos of his mother.
Taking to social media, Sameera posted a clip filmed by Hans, showing her behind the wheel as she drove through Goa. Dressed in a colourful printed outfit and sunglasses, with her hair left open and seatbelt fastened, the actress appeared relaxed as she enjoyed the drive.
“My son takes the coolest videos of his mama,” Sameera wrote while sharing the video.
Sameera and her husband Akshai Varde moved from Mumbai to Goa in 2020 during the pandemic. What began as a temporary move eventually became a permanent home for the family, with Sameera often speaking about how the slower pace of life and closeness to nature have influenced her outlook.
Although based in Goa, she continues to travel to Mumbai and other cities for professional commitments.
Sameera, who made her Bollywood debut in the early 2000s, has appeared in films including Darna Mana Hai, Musafir, Taxi No. 9211, Race and De Dana Dan.
In recent years, she has become known for her candid social media conversations around motherhood, parenting and body image. Her openness about her own postpartum experiences, including depression, weight gain, loneliness and the pressure to regain her pre-pregnancy appearance, has also shaped her online presence.
Her “Messy Mama” persona has resonated with followers for presenting a more candid side of motherhood. During the lockdown, her family videos, including the popular “Sassy Saasu and Messy Mama” content with her mother-in-law Manjari Varde, also drew attention online.
Sameera and Akshai are parents to two children, son Hans and daughter Nyra.
