Reality star Helen Flanagan has revealed that one of her daughters feared she might be arrested after she had a heated confrontation with a parking warden in Manchester.
The 36-year-old actress, who has three children — Matilda, 11, Delilah, 8, and Charlie, 5 — with her former fiancé, footballer Scott Sinclair, shared the incident in a TikTok video.
Flanagan said she had paid for parking but entered the letter ‘O’ incorrectly as the number zero while registering her courtesy car. When a parking warden began issuing a ticket, she protested that she had paid. Recalling the argument, she said, “I am due my period so hell hath no fury if you get my wrath, wow”.
One of her daughters could be heard saying, “I don’t want to go back”. Flanagan explained that the child thought she was “going to get arrested”. The actress admitted confronting the warden, saying he was “the most horrible man I’ve ever met” and adding that he “deserved” her anger.
The incident comes months after Flanagan spoke about feeling overwhelmed following her house move. In an Instagram post after a family visit to Chester Zoo, she described the unpacking and boxes as chaotic and said she was struggling to manage emails and phone calls while looking after the children.
She also praised her parents for helping with the children’s activities and supporting her whenever she needed to work.
