The Madhya Pradesh government has ordered the transfer of five IAS officers to new positions across the state as part of an administrative reshuffle. The postings will remain temporary and will continue on a stop-gap basis until further orders.
The General Administration Department issued the transfer order on October 27, 2026, covering officers from the 2012 to 2017 IAS batches.
According to the order, Pratibha Pal (2012 batch), currently serving as Collector of Sagar district, has been appointed Managing Director of the Madhya Pradesh State Tourism Development Corporation in Bhopal. The posting is against the cadre post of Additional Secretary in the state government.
Neha Meena (2014 batch), who was serving as Collector of Seoni, has been transferred as Collector of Dewas district.
Dilip Kumar Yadav (2014 batch), the outgoing Managing Director of the Madhya Pradesh State Tourism Development Corporation in Bhopal, has been appointed Collector of Sagar district.
Rituraj (2015 batch), who was serving as Collector of Dewas, has been posted as Deputy Secretary in the General Administration Department.
Meanwhile, Anju Arun Kumar (2017 batch), currently Deputy Secretary in the Panchayat and Rural Development Department, has been appointed Collector of Seoni district.
The order specifies that all five officers will take up their new responsibilities under temporary arrangements until further directions are issued.
The reshuffle affects key district-level administrative positions and the state tourism development corporation. District Collectors oversee district administration, revenue-related matters and coordination of government development schemes, while the tourism corporation is responsible for promoting and developing tourism in Madhya Pradesh.
The changes are intended to address administrative requirements through temporary postings, pending further orders from the state government.
