The Punjab Government on Friday ordered the transfer and posting of three IAS and five PCS officers with immediate effect as part of an administrative reshuffle.
According to orders issued by Chief Secretary K.A.P. Sinha, senior IAS officers heading the Municipal Corporations of Patiala and Ludhiana have been shifted, while several PCS officers have been given key assignments.
IAS Officers Transferred
Shri Paramjit Singh, IAS (2014), who was serving as Commissioner, Municipal Corporation, Patiala, has been appointed Special Secretary, Water Resources.
Smt. Neeru Katyal Gupta, IAS (2016), Commissioner, Municipal Corporation, Ludhiana, has been posted as Special Secretary, General Administration and Coordination.
Shri Ojasvi, IAS (2020), Additional Chief Administrator, Greater Ludhiana Area Development Authority (GLADA), Ludhiana, has been placed at the disposal of the Department of Local Government for posting as Commissioner, Municipal Corporation, Ludhiana, replacing Smt. Neeru Katyal Gupta.
PCS Officers Transferred
Smt. Pooja Sayal, PCS (2012), Additional Deputy Commissioner (General), Fatehgarh Sahib, has been placed at the disposal of the Department of Local Government for posting as Commissioner, Municipal Corporation, Patiala, replacing Shri Paramjit Singh, IAS.
Smt. Amarbir Kaur Bhullar, PCS (2012), Secretary, Punjab Subordinate Services Selection Board (PSSSB), has been posted as Additional Deputy Commissioner (General), Fatehgarh Sahib, vice Smt. Pooja Sayal.
Smt. Kanu Thind, PCS (2014), Joint Director (Administration), Industries and Commerce Department, and Additional Member Secretary, Punjab State Food Commission, will continue in those positions and has additionally been appointed Additional Managing Director, Punjab Small Industries Export Corporation (PSIEC), relieving Shri Jagdeep Saigal, PCS, of the additional charge.
Shri Amrinder Singh Tiwana, PCS (2014), Joint Secretary, Defence Services Welfare, has been transferred and posted as Secretary, Punjab Subordinate Services Selection Board, replacing Smt. Amarbir Kaur Bhullar.
Shri Vikas Hira, PCS (2016), Additional Chief Administrator (Policy), Punjab Urban Planning and Development Authority (PUDA), and Additional Chief Administrator, GLADA, has been placed at the disposal of the Department of Housing and Urban Development for posting as Additional Chief Administrator, GLADA, Ludhiana, in place of Shri Ojasvi, IAS.
The officers concerned have been directed to assume charge of their new assignments immediately.
