As enforcement efforts continue, a farmer support helpline has also been launched to help cultivators explore alternatives to burning paddy residue.
The Sanjha Mittar Farmer Support Centre, associated with Clean Air Punjab, AirCare Centre and Saanjh Punjab, will operate the helpline at +91 79737 27514 from 9 am to 5 pm. It aims to provide practical guidance on managing crop residue through timely and affordable alternatives.
