Tensions escalated inside the Rise & Fall Season 2 house after contestants Swara Bhasker and Shehzad Poonawalla became embroiled in a heated exchange, prompting fellow participants Karan Patel and Gautam Gulati to step in and defuse the situation.
The confrontation began during the show’s ‘Rulers’ Fall Ka Farmaan’ task, when Shehzad was assigned the responsibility of saving one Ruler from being sent to the Basement. He chose Gautam over Swara and Karan, explaining that he did not want to repeat his earlier decision to save Irina Rudakova at Gautam’s expense.
Swara was visibly unhappy with the choice and confronted Shehzad in the Penthouse. She reminded him that she had supported him during previous decisions, claiming she had put herself at a disadvantage twice to ensure his safety.
The disagreement intensified when the two discussed the issue again in front of Gautam and Karan. Swara objected to Shehzad bringing what she considered a personal conversation into the open and questioned his maturity and understanding.
She also clarified that she did not regard Shehzad as responsible for her safety, saying Gautam had ultimately chosen to save her. She thanked Gautam for his decision but made it clear that she had no words of gratitude for Shehzad.
The exchange grew louder as Swara questioned why Shehzad was raising his voice. He denied shouting and responded that his point was simply getting through to her.
Karan and Gautam eventually intervened to calm both contestants and prevent the argument from escalating further.
The latest clash comes against the backdrop of an existing public disagreement between Swara and Shehzad. The two have frequently exchanged remarks on social media over their contrasting political ideologies and support for different political parties, even before entering the reality show.
