The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Punjab received an organisational boost in Gurdaspur as former Shiromani Akali Dal (Badal) Halqa In-charge and former Zila Parishad member Ravi Mohan joined the party in Dinanagar.
Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann formally welcomed Mohan into the AAP. Party leader Jagroop Singh Sekhwan was also present on the occasion.
Mohan has previously served as Akali Dal’s Halqa In-charge for Dinanagar and Bhoa constituencies and has been active in grassroots politics and rural public representation. He joined AAP after expressing confidence in the development work of the Bhagwant Mann government.
Sekhwan welcomed Mohan, saying his experience in grassroots politics and organisational activities would strengthen the party in Gurdaspur.
“I am confident that his experience and support will further strengthen the party in Gurdaspur,” Sekhwan said.
