Actress Mouni Roy reunited with filmmaker Ayan Mukerji, who directed her in Brahmastra, during a visit to the North Bombay Sarbojanin Durga Puja pandal in Mumbai.
Mouni shared glimpses of the visit on social media, including pictures of herself posing with Ayan and his cousin, actress Tanishaa Mukerji. Dressed in a yellow saree with gold jewellery and her hair left open, the actress also joined the festivities by serving food to devotees at the pandal.
Sharing a devotional message with the pictures, Mouni wrote, “Don’t be afraid, my child. I am always with you. Lay all your sorrows and fears at my feet. May courage be your strength, may faith be your light, and may your world be filled with love. Always remember, you too are a manifestation of divine feminine power.”
Earlier, Brahmastra actor Ranbir Kapoor, a close friend of Ayan, also visited the pandal to seek blessings. He added a musical touch to the celebrations with an impromptu performance alongside singer Harshdeep Kaur, singing “Kabira” from the 2013 film Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani, which was also directed by Ayan.
Ranbir, dressed in a red-and-gold kurta with white pyjamas, greeted photographers and posed for pictures at the venue.
Several other celebrities attended the Durga Puja celebrations this year, including Kajol with her children, Yug and Nysa Devgn, veteran actor Jaya Bachchan and filmmaker Anurag Basu.
The North Bombay Sarbojanin Durga Puja, a long-standing tradition associated with the Mukerji family, marked its 80th year of celebrations in 2026.
