Actor Saif Ali Khan has taken a nostalgic trip back to his childhood, sharing a photograph from 1975 that offers fans a glimpse into his early years.
Since making his Instagram debut on October 11, Saif has been sharing photographs from different phases of his life. On Sunday, he posted a throwback picture taken on the terrace of his Mumbai home on Carmichael Road, revealing that the shirt he wore in the photograph was one of his childhood favourites.
“Is this me ??? … 1975 Bombay, Carmichael road, mums terrace and my favourite shirt !!” Saif wrote in the caption.
The post followed another photograph he shared on Saturday, showing him seated with a book in his hand at the Pataudi Library. Dressed in a white kurta-pyjama, the actor was pictured looking out of a window.
Adding his characteristic wordplay to the post, Saif wrote, “Just trying to read between the lines to understand the window’s pane,” accompanied by emojis.
The Pataudi Library also featured in his first-ever Instagram post, in which he shared a photograph from the same setting with the caption, “Pataudi Library.. Judging books by their cover.”
Saif’s recent posts have also offered glimpses into his family life. On October 16, he marked 14 years of marriage with actor Kareena Kapoor Khan with a series of photographs.
He first shared a picture of himself dressed in a white tuxedo jacket, white shirt and black trousers, captioned, “Almost perfect, but something is missing….”
The next photograph featured Kareena in a blue gown with a thigh-high slit, followed by a family picture of the couple with their sons, Taimur and Jeh. The family was seen sitting on the floor of their home, with a Christmas tree in the background.
Through his early Instagram posts, Saif has been sharing personal memories, family moments and glimpses of his favourite spaces with followers.
