Ram Temple Construction Committee Chairman Nripendra Mishra has said that the suggestions made by Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust Chief Executive Officer, retired Air Marshal Jeetendra Mishra, during a review meeting on construction-related matters will be followed, particularly regarding the timely utilisation of advance payments made to construction agencies.

Speaking to reporters, Nripendra Mishra said he had not held a separate discussion with the Trust CEO on the specific matter. However, Jeetendra Mishra attended the review meeting, was briefed on the issues discussed and offered suggestions on construction-related matters.

Referring to advance payments made to agencies, including Rajkiya Nirman Nigam, the committee chairman said the CEO had stressed that the funds should be utilised within the stipulated time.

He added that if the advance payments were not fully utilised, the interest accrued on the unspent amount should be paid to the Ram Temple Trust.

“All the suggestions made by him were correct, and they will be followed,” Nripendra Mishra said.

Earlier, on Friday, Mishra said that nearly all construction work at the Ram Temple complex had been completed, with the remaining work scheduled to be finished by November 15.

Extending greetings on the upcoming festivals, he said 148 of the nearly 150 construction projects within the complex had been completed and handed over to the Ram Mandir Trust.

Larsen & Toubro, which is responsible for executing the construction work, is required to hand over completed projects along with the relevant records, drawings, designs and financial documentation.

The Trust’s project engineers inspect the completed works before approving their handover.

“Of these 150 works, 148 have been completed and handed over. The major construction work that is yet to be handed over is the Parkota, the temple’s perimeter structure,” Mishra said.

Work on the remaining infrastructure, finishing tasks and lighting arrangements is continuing, with November 15 set as the deadline for completing the pending work.

Meanwhile, on Saturday, the committee chairman inspected the International Ram Katha Museum, which is being developed under the Ram Temple Trust.

The museum will feature 20 galleries showcasing the life of Lord Ram.
