Actress Alia Bhatt has shared her admiration for sister Shaheen Bhatt’s social media posts, calling herself “obsessed” with her content in a playful exchange that also drew a comment from their mother, veteran actress Soni Razdan.
Shaheen took to social media on Sunday to share glimpses of her lunch outing and the day that followed. The post featured pictures of her at a restaurant, waiting for her food, a goofy selfie and snapshots of her surroundings.
“Lunch and other things,” Shaheen captioned the post.
Alia responded in the comments, writing, “Obsessed with your content.” Shaheen returned the affection with, “Obsessed with you.”
Razdan joined the conversation with a light-hearted question about Shaheen’s eating habits, writing, “I thought you were sticking to a healthy (strict) eating plan.”
Shaheen replied, “Of course I was, I don’t know what you’re talking about.”
Beyond their close family bond, Alia and Shaheen also work together through their production banner, Eternal Sunshine Productions. The sisters recently backed the romantic entertainer ‘Don’t Be Shy’, which premiered on an OTT platform on September 25.
In a joint statement, the sisters described the film as a special project that explores the experiences of growing up, including friendships, first love, heartbreak and the process of discovering one’s identity.
They also praised the film’s young cast, highlighting the performers’ energy, vulnerability and chemistry.
Directed by Sreeti Mukerji, ‘Don’t Be Shy’ features Aarushi Bajaj, Ansh Duggal, Bianca Arora and Piyush Khati, among others.
