Actress Tanushree Dutta has shared a cryptic social media post seemingly aimed at people she believes caused her personal and professional hardships, saying she expects to witness their eventual downfall.
The Aashiq Banaya Aapne actress took to Instagram to speak about rebuilding her life and referred to what she described as her “karmic wheels” turning. In the post, she alleged that certain people had plotted against, harassed and worked to undermine her.
“To those who afflicted me and removed me from my organic path in life. My vocational and personal life will be resurrected again in the most wonderful way and I will watch the fall & demise of all those who afflicted me for no fault of mine,” Tanushree wrote.
She further alleged that those who had worked against her would eventually face consequences, adding that their lives would “crumble” before their eyes. The allegations were made by Tanushree in her social media post and have not been independently verified.
The actress has previously spoken publicly about difficulties she says she experienced during her career. Last month, she claimed that her professional opportunities were being obstructed by what she described as “enemy camp handlers”.
“So there are also people that want to work with me but the enemy camp handlers don’t let anything come to me. They lie, manipulate and lead things astray at the enquiry level itself. Or misguide genuine brands, events and projects to sabotage me further,” she had alleged.
Tanushree was among the prominent Bollywood voices associated with India’s 2018 #MeToo movement. She had publicly accused veteran actor Nana Patekar of sexual misconduct during the filming of the 2008 film Horn ‘Ok’ Pleassss. Patekar has denied the allegations.
