Television actress Avika Gor recently experienced a heartwarming fan encounter at an airport that unexpectedly left some European onlookers alarmed.
The Balika Vadhu actress took to Instagram to recall how three girls approached her for selfies and spoke about the impact her work had made on their lives.
Avika said the interaction touched her deeply and made her reflect on her journey in the entertainment industry, which began when she was just 10 years old.
“3 girls came up to me at the airport today and reminded me what I have earned over the years. Many people see us actors and click pictures and it’s been that way for me since I was 10. What touched my heart today was that they not only clicked selfies with me but spoke of the impact I have on their lives and what level of respect they have for me and my art,” she wrote.
She added that such appreciation was exactly what motivated her to continue working hard.
“This is exactly what keeps us actors going. Thank you girls for making my day and reminding me to not doubt myself and my achievements. I promise you, I will not take this for granted,” Avika said.
She then humorously noted that she had to explain the situation to the Europeans around her, who had become concerned because they initially thought she was being attacked.
Meanwhile, Avika recently exited the stunt-based reality show Khatron Ke Khiladi 15. She was eliminated after losing a horror-themed treasure hunt stunt against social media influencer Orry.
While Orry completed the challenge in around 10 minutes, Avika took more than 13 minutes, ending her journey on the show.
