Bollywood actor Veer Pahariya has described his upcoming romantic comedy Prem Keetanu as a refreshing entertainer that will bring laughter and a range of emotions to audiences.
In an exclusive interview with IANS, Veer spoke about the film’s narrative and said it would offer viewers a much-needed break from serious cinema. The film is scheduled to release in theatres on October 2.
“Prem Keetanu is coming to cinemas on October 2. It’s a great film with seven songs, and you will see all kinds of emotions in it. You will enjoy it on October 2. All the serious films keep coming, but an amazing, heart-touching and hilarious film is coming after a long time,” Veer said.
Calling it a romantic comedy, the actor highlighted the film’s ensemble cast, which includes Rakesh Bedi, Aparshakti Khurana, newcomer Aafiya Sayed and Nikhil Vijay.
Directed by Apoorv Singh Karki, known for Sirf Ek Bandaa Kaafi Hai, the film also features Rakesh Bedi and Nikhil Vijay in pivotal roles. It explores the aspirations, relationships and everyday challenges faced by young Indians.
Veer made his Bollywood debut with Akshay Kumar-starrer Sky Force, in which he portrayed Indian Air Force officer T. Vijaya. He also has the action thriller Naam – To Live Is War, directed by Sidhaant Sachdev and produced by Riddhi Chawda and Utsav Upadhyay, in his upcoming projects.
Veer, the grandson of former Maharashtra Chief Minister and former Union Home Minister Sushilkumar Shinde, has also frequently been in the spotlight over his personal connections in the film industry. He shares a close friendship with actress Janhvi Kapoor, who has been linked with his elder brother Shikhar Pahariya.
