Actor Aman Verma has confirmed his return to the popular television franchise Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi 2, marking a nostalgic full-circle moment in his acting journey.
Aman took to Instagram to share a collage featuring a throwback picture from his earlier association with the show alongside a recent image. Reflecting on his journey, he recalled that the original series marked an important phase in his career when he joined it in 2001.
“And we come around in a circle …. once again … Started initially the beginning of my career with this show … The year was 2001 … and now it’s 2026 … After 26 years the show has not lost its charm or its following,” he wrote.
The actor also expressed his gratitude to producer Ekta Kapoor for her faith in his characters and the storyline, ending his post by confirming that “Anupam is Back.”
Aman Verma will reprise his popular character, Anupam Kapadia, in the second season. In the original series, Anupam was introduced as Tulsi’s former boyfriend and Mandira’s brother. His association with Smriti Irani’s character Tulsi was among the memorable relationships in the show.
There are also reports that Mandira may return to the series alongside Anupam. If confirmed, the return of these familiar characters could bring another dose of nostalgia for viewers of the original.
Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi 2 premiered on StarPlus on July 29, 2025, as a sequel and reboot of the iconic television series. The show brought back Smriti Irani and Amar Upadhyay as Tulsi and Mihir Virani, reprising the roles that made them household names during the original series’ run.
