Mumbai, August 13, 2026 (Yes Punjab News) Actor Yash has praised his “Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups” co-star Sudev Nair for his dedication and contribution to the much-anticipated action thriller, calling him an “invisible pillar” of the film.
Speaking at the grand trailer launch of “Toxic”, Yash credited Sudev with playing a crucial role in keeping the production on track, particularly when scheduling conflicts affected the cast.
“If not for Sudev, this movie wouldn’t have happened. Every time somebody’s dates could not be accommodated, he would make up for it,” Yash said.
The “KGF” star further described Sudev as an “invisible pillar” who repeatedly stepped in to ensure that filming continued despite complex scheduling challenges.
The recently released trailer presents “Toxic” as an action-packed drama centred on the complicated relationship between Raya and his son, Ticket, both played by Yash. Their lives unfold amid a web of relationships, rivalries and conflicts.
The trailer features striking visuals, high-octane action sequences, intense characters and emotionally charged relationships, positioning the film as a large-scale action entertainer.
Directed by Geetu Mohandas, “Toxic” features Nayanthara, Kiara Advani, Huma Qureshi, Tara Sutaria, Akshay Oberoi and Sudev Nair in key roles.
Backed by KVN Productions and Monster Mind Creations, the film is scheduled for a worldwide theatrical release on August 26.
Shot simultaneously in English and Kannada, “Toxic” will also be released in dubbed versions in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam.
