Chandigarh, June 2, 2026 (Yes Punjab News):
The Punjab Government on Tuesday ordered the transfer and posting of four PCS officers on administrative grounds with immediate effect as part of a fresh bureaucratic reshuffle in the state administration.
The orders were issued by the Department of Personnel under the signatures of Punjab Chief Secretary K. A. P. Sinha.
According to the notification, Hardeep Singh (2014 batch), who was awaiting posting, has been appointed as Sub Divisional Magistrate (SDM), Guru Har Sahai, against a vacant post.
Similarly, Ashok Kumar (2020 batch), who was also available for posting, has been posted as SDM, Gurdaspur, against a vacant post.
In another important posting, Ramandeep Kaur (2026 batch), who was awaiting posting, has been appointed as SDM, Banur. She will relieve Ankita Kansal of the additional charge she was holding.
Meanwhile, Robinjeet Kaur (2026 batch), who was serving as Assistant Commissioner (General), Tarn Taran, has been transferred and posted as Regional Transport Officer (RTO), Gurdaspur, against a vacant post.
The state government has directed all officers concerned to join their new places of posting immediately.
The order further stated that the concerned departments and authorities would make internal arrangements for disposal of work relating to the posts falling vacant due to the transfers.
