Popular social media influencer Faisal Shaikh, widely known as Mr Faisu, announced his wedding on Saturday, sharing a series of dreamy photographs from his nikah ceremony in Madinah, Saudi Arabia.
Taking to Instagram, Faisu offered fans a glimpse of the special occasion, which took place in the holy city in the presence of his family. The influencer wore a white sherwani for the ceremony, while his bride looked stunning in a red-and-white sharara.
Sharing the photographs, Faisu wrote, “And We created you in pairs” (Quran 78:8), describing the nikah as a dream turned into reality and expressing gratitude for celebrating the occasion in Madinah with his entire family by his side.
“Please keep us in your duas as we begin this beautiful journey together. May Allah bless our marriage with endless love and barakah. Ameen,” he added.
The wedding announcement drew congratulatory messages from several personalities in the entertainment industry and the social media world.
Actress Rubina Dilaik congratulated the couple and wished them well, while influencer Abhishek Malhan, popularly known as Fukra Insaan, expressed happiness for his friend. Dhanashree Verma, Prince Narula, Urvashi Dholakia, Gaurav Khanna and Ridhi Dogra were also among those who extended their wishes to the newlyweds.
In the photographs shared by Faisu, the couple were seen signing the wedding register. Another picture captured him kissing his bride on the forehead, while other frames showed the newlyweds taking in the view of Madinah from the wedding hall.
The wedding has also drawn attention because a marriage invitation featuring the names Faisu and Tanya had recently gone viral on social media, bringing Tanya’s name into the public spotlight.
