A delegation of the Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee (DSGMC), led by its president, Sardar Harmeet Singh Kalka, met Union Minister of State for Law and Justice (Independent Charge) and Parliamentary Affairs Arjun Ram Meghwal to discuss key issues concerning the Sikh community and explore avenues for future cooperation.
The meeting was held at the residence of senior Supreme Court advocate Sardar Harvinder Singh Phoolka. DSGMC general secretary Sardar Jagdeep Singh Kahlon and other committee members also attended.
Former Delhi High Court judge Justice G.S. Sistani and Rajya Sabha member Sardar Vikramjit Singh Sahney were among those present at the meeting, which included discussions on matters affecting the Sikh community, contemporary social issues and opportunities for collaboration.
Sardar Harmeet Singh Kalka expressed hope that the interaction would strengthen cooperation between the Central Government and the DSGMC. He said closer coordination would be beneficial for the progress and welfare of the Sikh community and help protect its rights.
