Actress Komal Rani Swarnkar, who has been linked to actor Govinda, has responded to remarks made by his wife Sunita Ahuja, denying that she was responsible for problems in the couple’s marriage.
Komal took to Instagram Stories to react a day after Sunita spoke publicly about difficulties in her personal life and appealed to women and Gen-Z for support.
Rejecting the allegations against her, Komal wrote that “one cannot be a homebreaker in an already broken house” and questioned the decision to discuss personal matters publicly.
“I don’t understand what kind of pain a woman is going through, where, instead of trying to heal it, she seems to enjoy putting it on display in public. Is this really a pain or is it a carefully thought-out conspiracy?” she wrote.
Komal further alleged that a man could be subjected to mental harassment, prevented from working and isolated to the point of despair. She questioned whether a “good and devoted wife” would treat her husband in such a manner.
She also criticised what she described as an attempt to gain public sympathy by taking personal issues into the public domain.
Komal concluded her post by asking Sunita to stop using her name and alleged that it was being done to serve her own agenda.
Sunita, meanwhile, had appealed for support after visiting the Dakshineswar Kali Temple near Kolkata on Friday.
“All you Gen-Z youngsters and women, please support me. What is happening to me is not right. My home is falling apart for no reason,” she told mediapersons.
The allegations and counter-allegations concern the personal lives of Govinda, Sunita and Komal and have not been independently established.
