Bhojpuri actress Amrapali Dubey has spoken candidly about her deep desire to experience motherhood, saying that raising a child has become her biggest personal aspiration at this stage of her life.
During a conversation with fellow contestant Love Gill on Bigg Boss 20, the actress explained that her nurturing behaviour towards other housemates was not a strategy for the reality show but a reflection of her genuine personality.
“People think that I am doing this for the game, like taking care and all, but no, man. My whole life will change. At this point, I genuinely see only motherhood. Nothing else,” Amrapali said.
She added that her instinct to care for younger contestants, including ScoutOP and Love, had become a natural part of her personality. She also felt that her age had contributed to her growing desire to raise a child.
“I am not acting like I care for people. Whether I care for Young or Scout, or I care for you sometimes, that has become my genuine nature. And I think it is because of my age, you know. I am in the actual age of raising a child,” she said.
Inside the Bigg Boss house, Amrapali has frequently taken on a guiding and protective role among younger contestants. Her tendency to offer advice and look after them has earned her the affectionate tag of ‘Amma’ from fellow housemates.
This is not the first time the actress has spoken about becoming a mother. During her appearance on the Bhojpuri celebrity reality show Bhojpuri Bawaal, she had revealed her wish to adopt a daughter, even if it meant embracing motherhood before marriage.
Amrapali had said the desire to have a child was something she had carried since childhood. She also expressed confidence in her ability to take responsibility for raising a child, making it clear that motherhood was a priority she would not want to compromise on, even if it required adjustments to her acting career.
