Social media personality Orry has opened up about his fallout with childhood friend and actress Sara Ali Khan, revealing that certain incidents left him hurt and that he no longer wishes to continue their friendship.
During an appearance on Neha Dhupia and Angad Bedi’s show Double Date, Orry was asked about the most famous person he had blocked, unfollowed or muted. He named Sara and her mother, Amrita Singh.
Recalling a difficult phase in Sara’s life, Orry said he had stood by her despite people advising him to distance himself.
“We were childhood friends, and we went to college together. We were in Goa when Sara was going through a very big case, and I was with her throughout this. Everyone was telling me to leave her, but I didn’t,” he said.
Orry also alleged that Amrita Singh had scolded him and spoken about him to others. He said he never received an apology, adding, “I can’t stay friends with her”.
Emphasising the importance of genuine relationships, he said, “I chase genuine friendship. I do not want to maintain a friendship that is not genuine. I am a fake person, main bahar se aur andar se poora nakli ho sakta hoon, if you want me to be fake”.
Orry also spoke about his experience on Khatron Ke Khiladi, saying he was particularly hurt when people he considered his closest friends did not share his posts or even like them while he was participating in the mentally and physically demanding show.
