Actress Bhagyashree extended a warm birthday greeting to Raveena Tandon, sharing a heartfelt message celebrating her longtime friend and fellow Hindi film star.
Taking to Instagram Stories, Bhagyashree posted a photograph of the two actresses smiling together and wished Tandon continued happiness and glamour.
“Happy birthday Ravs! May you remain as ravishing @officialraveenatandon forever,” she wrote.
Both actresses rose to prominence in the 1990s and remain familiar faces in the Indian entertainment industry. Their friendship has been visible at social gatherings and festive celebrations, including a Lohri celebration in Mumbai in January 2025, when they shared pictures and glimpses of the festivities on social media.
Tandon established herself as one of the leading actresses of her generation with films such as Mohra, Dilwale and Andaz Apna Apna. Bhagyashree became widely recognised following her debut opposite Salman Khan in the blockbuster Maine Pyar Kiya.
Tandon has also recently revisited the demanding work culture of the 1990s. During an appearance on India’s Best Dancer Season 5, she recalled how she and Karisma Kapoor, popularly known as Lolo, would move between several film sets in a single day.
Describing the hectic schedules, Tandon said the two actresses sometimes worked what felt like 36 hours within a 24-hour day, shooting for as many as six productions across different locations. She recalled that the relentless pace could leave them confused about which characters they were portraying.
Bhagyashree’s birthday message added a personal touch to the celebrations, highlighting the warmth between two actresses whose careers helped shape Hindi cinema during the 1990s.
