Television actress Pavitra Punia has opened up about her experience of hosting the new reality show FBoy- Survival: Farzi Ya Forever, saying its unpredictable format and unusual mix of survival, relationships and competition made the opportunity particularly refreshing for her.
Pavitra said she was drawn to the concept because it places contestants in situations where they are pushed beyond their comfort zones, allowing their personalities and relationships to unfold under pressure.
“Hosting FBoy- Survival: Farzi Ya Forever has been such a refreshing experience because the format is unpredictable at every turn. What really drew me to the show was the idea of watching people navigate survival, relationships, competition and their own personalities when they are pushed completely out of their comfort zones,” she said.
The actress added that her role as host gives her an opportunity to observe the contestants while bringing her own energy to the unfolding drama.
“As a host, I get to observe all of this while adding my own energy to the chaos. I’ve genuinely enjoyed bringing the drama, calling out the unexpected moments and keeping the contestants and hopefully the viewers on their toes. It’s a very different space for me, and I’m loving every bit of it,” she added.
FBoy- Survival: Farzi Ya Forever is streaming live on the TLC YouTube channel. The show brings together 15 strangers in a desert environment without basic necessities or a clear understanding of what lies ahead.
The contestants are soon confronted with a demanding physical challenge, setting the tone for shifting alliances, rivalries and confrontations as they attempt to navigate the competition.
Pavitra has appeared in several television projects. She gained recognition for playing Geet Dhillon in Love U Zindagi and later drew attention as the antagonist Timnasa in the fantasy sitcom Baalveer Returns. She has also participated in MTV Splitsvilla 3 in 2009 and Bigg Boss 14 in 2020.
