Actress Rashmika Mandanna has shared her love for candid, random photographs clicked by her team on a disposable camera, saying such pictures capture moments exactly as they happened.
Taking to Instagram, Rashmika posted a series of photographs taken by her team with a disposable camera she had gifted them. Recalling the idea behind the exercise, she wrote, “A few months ago we had this little ideaaa… I gave the team a disposable camera and the only brief was.. just click whatever you feel like clicking.”
Explaining what makes the pictures special, she said, “There’s something I really love about not knowing what a picture looks like the second you take it. You can’t fix the hair, change the angle, take another 20 or edit the little things you don’t like. You just get the moment exactly as it was.”
Rashmika added that in an era when people often take hundreds of photographs before selecting the “perfect” one, these unplanned images feel even more meaningful. “Definitely doing more of thissss,” she concluded.
On the work front, Rashmika has an interesting line-up of films, including Ranabaali and Mysaa, both scheduled for release this year.
The makers of director Rawindra Pulle’s action thriller Mysaa recently announced that the film will release worldwide on November 27. Production house Unformula Films shared the announcement on social media, describing Rashmika’s character as resilient, fearless and unbreakable.
The film recently completed shooting a crucial underwater sequence featuring Rashmika. The actress had earlier revealed that a long shooting schedule in Kerala had also been completed. The schedule included high-intensity action sequences choreographed by stunt master Kecha Khampakdi.
Rashmika had reportedly undergone an intensive stunt and combat training programme in Bangkok, Thailand, training for more than eight hours a day. She plays a tribal Gond girl in the film, a role that requires both emotional vulnerability and physical intensity.
Mysaa also stars Eshwari Rao, Guru Somasundaram and Rao Ramesh. Shreyaas P Krishna is the cinematographer, while Jakes Bejoy has composed the music. International stunt choreographer Andy Long is overseeing the action.
