The Punjab Government has ordered the transfers and postings of two senior IPS officers with immediate effect.
Dr. Sukhchain Singh Gill, IPS, DIG, Provisioning, Punjab, Chandigarh and in addition Commissioner of Police, Amritsar has been posted as IGP-cum-Commissioner of Police, Amritsar on promotion as IGP.
Sh. Ranbir Singh Khatra, IPS, DIG, Jalandhar Range, Jalandhar has been posted as IGP, Jalandhar Range, Jalandhar on promotion as IGP.
